Job Description Insight Global's financial client is seeking a mid-level SRE/DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale platform transformation effort as applications and services are replatformed from on-premises environments to the cloud. This individual will play a key role in platform reliability, observability, monitoring, and automation while helping build scalable cloud-native solutions. The team is globally distributed, with a large engineering presence in Bangalore, and is focused on improving operational efficiency and proactive platform management.
Monitor, maintain, and improve platform reliability across production environments
Pick up and execute work from the team's engineering backlog and ticket queue
Design and build dashboards, alerts, and observability tooling for internal stakeholders and clients
Implement and enhance distributed tracing, monitoring, and logging capabilities
Support the migration of services from on-premises environments to cloud-based infrastructure
Participate in platform engineering efforts to improve scalability, automation, and operational excellence
Build, test, and validate new platform capabilities and POCs
Partner with global engineering teams to troubleshoot performance and reliability issues
Contribute to both long-term project initiatives and day-to-day operational support
Help establish proactive monitoring practices that identify issues before they impact users

Global team with significant engineering presence in Bangalore
Approximately 12 team members comprised of SREs, DevOps Engineers, and QA/Test Engineers
Focused on building a more scalable and modern platform organization
Five-day onsite expectation
Standard shift with collaboration across global time zones Skills and Requirements 3-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Platform Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript




Experience building and maintaining observability and monitoring solutions
Expertise with:
Amazon CloudWatch
Prometheus
OpenTelemetry
Distributed tracing
Logging and monitoring pipelines
Experience supporting production environments and ensuring platform uptime and reliability
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and cloud-native operational practices
Experience creating dashboards, alerts, and monitoring tools that enable predictive issue detection
Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and manage BAU (business-as-usual) support activities
Solid understanding of infrastructure, application monitoring, and platform health metrics
AWS experience, specifically:
Route 53 / DNS management
General AWS infrastructure services
Experience with cloud migration or replatforming initiatives
Prior exposure to large-scale enterprise platform environments
Experience building domain or shared platform services
Proof of Concept (POC) and platform engineering experience
