Role Description The Jr Video Editor role is a full-time, remote position responsible for supporting the production of video content for digital campaigns, social media, and brand storytelling. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves assembling raw footage, cutting and sequencing clips, syncing audio, and applying basic effects to create polished, engaging videos aligned with creative briefs. The Jr Video Editor will collaborate with senior editors, designers, and marketers to adapt content for different platforms, optimize formats, and maintain brand consistency. Additional responsibilities include organizing media assets, assisting with color correction and graphics integration,



and revising content based on feedback and performance insights. The role requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative workflow. Qualifications
• Strong foundational skills in video production and video editing, including working with raw footage, timelines, and audio.
• Ability to perform basic to intermediate video color grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual output.
• Experience with motion graphics and graphics to create easy animations, lower thirds, and visual elements for digital content.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Understanding of social media platforms and digital content formats, including vertical and short-form video.
• Solid organizational skills for file management, version control, and project documentation in a remote setting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
• Relevant coursework, certification, or degree in film, media, communications, or a related field is beneficial; prior internship or project experience in video editing is a plus.
