Digital Engineering Lead Role Purpose Provide independent oversight of engineering delivery quality across website development, production support, code quality, release management, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities
Website Engineering Governance
· Review technical implementation of the website revamp.
· Validate frontend and backend development standards.
· Ensure reusable and maintainable code practices.
· Review component design, templates, and publishing model. Code Quality Assessment
· Conduct periodic code reviews.
· Assess coding standards and technical debt.
· Validate adherence to secure coding principles.
· Review vendor development practices and recommendations. Performance & Digital Experience Assurance
· Review page performance and Core Web Vitals.
· Validate media optimization practices.
· Review website accessibility compliance.
· Assess SEO technical implementation.
· Ensure responsive design quality across devices. Release & Production Readiness
· Review deployment and release processes.




· Validate UAT and production readiness.
· Review rollback and recovery procedures.
· Assess support model effectiveness across the three production websites. Operational Governance
· Review incident management processes.
· Assess monitoring and alerting capabilities.
· Validate SLA and support model adherence.
· Review vendor support performance and operational maturity. Quality Gate Reviews
· Sprint Reviews
· UAT Readiness Reviews
· Performance Reviews
· Production Readiness Reviews
· Post-Go-Live Health Checks Experience Required
· 10+ years digital engineering experience.
· Experience delivering enterprise CMS platforms.
· Robust understanding of: o AEM o React / Front-End Frameworks o AWS o API Integrations o Website Performance Optimization o Accessibility Standards o SEO Technical Compliance
· Experience governing system integrators and delivery vendors.
