Senior SAP MM Consultant (Contract

About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Senior SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with 7+ years of hands-on implementation, rollout, and support experience. This is a remote, contract-based opportunity operating within the IST shift. Note: We are specifically seeking independent consultants or professionals who currently work in remote setups and have the schedule flexibility/bandwidth to successfully manage and deliver on an additional project assignment during IST hours.

Key Responsibilities
• End-to-End Implementation & Support: Drive SAP MM configuration, customization, and support lifecycle tasks.
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Mastery: Handle complex P2P business processes, material master data, purchasing, inventory management, physical inventory, and vendor valuation.
• Cross-Module Integration: Seamlessly collaborate on FI-MM (Procure-to-Pay integration with Financial Accounting) and MM-SD/PP integrations.
• Data Migration & Tools: Experience with legacy data migration tools (such as LSMW, LTMC/LTMOM, or BAPIs/IDOCs).
• Issue Resolution & Debugging: Troubleshoot daily operational bottlenecks, error logs, and functional issues (e.g., GR/IR clearing, MIRO/MIGO issues, blocked invoices).
• Documentation & Customization: Prepare functional specification documents (FSDs) for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces,



Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects and interact with technical teams.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Effectively coordinate with business stakeholders, lead user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide post-go-live hypercare support. Technical Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of dedicated professional experience in SAP MM.
• Core Competencies:
• Deep configuration expertise in Inventory Management (IM), Purchasing (PUR), Pricing Procedures, Release Strategies, and Material Master.
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP FI/CO (P2P cycle) and SD/PP modules.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment (S/4HANA certification or migration project experience is a robust plus).
• Operational

Skills:
Hands-on background in handling AMS support, cutover activities, month-end/year-end closing processes, and IDOC monitoring.

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields (Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, or Business Administration). Candidate Expectations & Bandwidth
