Python / Flask + React | Industrial IoT & Real-Time SaaS

Experience:
3-6 years Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale a data-intensive SaaS platform for industrial operations. You will own features end-to-end, from Python APIs and high-volume time-series pipelines to responsive React dashboards, live machine monitoring, production analytics, and AI-assisted user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and TimescaleDB.
• Develop modern React interfaces for real-time operational dashboards, machine status, production metrics, shift comparisons, and analytics.
• Integrate frontend experiences with REST APIs and streaming data sources; ensure responsive rendering and reliable live updates.
• Design and optimize high-volume time-series data models, SQL queries, continuous aggregates, and data retrieval workflows.
• Work with event-driven systems using Kafka/Redpanda, MQTT, and asynchronous processing with Celery/Redis.
• Build intuitive workflows, guided onboarding experiences, and interfaces for AI agents or copilots.
• Contribute to secure multi-tenant SaaS patterns, including access controls and PostgreSQL row-level security.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker; collaborate on AWS-based environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, dashboards, and distributed tracing; participate in code reviews and technical design.



Required Qualifications
• 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful hands-on work across both backend and frontend development.
• Robust Python experience with Flask (or a comparable web framework) and REST API design.
• Strong React skills, including hooks, reusable components, state management, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design; PostgreSQL experience preferred.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and handling asynchronous or real-time updates.
• Familiarity with message queues or event streaming (Kafka, Redpanda, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Experience with Docker, Git-based workflows, testing, and debugging production applications.
• Ability to independently deliver end-to-end features and collaborate effectively within a product engineering team. Good to Have
• TimescaleDB/InfluxDB and performance optimization for large time-series datasets.
• MQTT, WebSockets, industrial IoT, sensor telemetry, or manufacturing software experience.
• Data visualization libraries and dashboards for high-frequency operational data.
• AWS ECS, Terraform, Docker Swarm, GitLab CI/CD, Grafana Cloud, or OpenTelemetry.
• Celery/Redis task queues, PostgreSQL row-level security, TypeScript, or React Joyride.
• Experience building AI-assisted interfaces or enterprise B2B SaaS products. Ideal Candidate A pragmatic engineer comfortable moving between database queries, backend services, and frontend user experiences, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and maintainable code.
