Role Description The Technical Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Karur, responsible for supporting the quality, safety, and efficiency of dairy production processes. This role involves monitoring and analyzing production parameters, performing routine checks, and assisting with troubleshooting technical issues in coordination with plant and laboratory teams. The Technical Officer will provide technical support to internal stakeholders, respond to queries related to product quality and process compliance, and help maintain documentation in line with regulatory and company standards. The role also includes collaborating with operations, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to implement improvements, supporting audits, and contributing to training initiatives on technical and hygiene practices.



The Technical Officer is expected to maintain a strong customer and farmer focus, ensuring that technical guidance aligns with Hatsun’s commitment to high-quality dairy products. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, monitor process parameters, and support problem-solving in production and quality control.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, document technical findings, and interact with farmers and internal customers clearly.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to assist in troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and provide guidance on standard operating procedures.

• Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills to support sampling, basic testing, and collaboration with quality and lab teams on product specifications and hygiene standards.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Agriculture, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of dairy processing operations, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FSSAI or equivalent) is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in a plant environment, with attention to detail, adherence to safety practices, and willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.
