Internship About Navadrishti Navadrishti LLP is a technology and consulting company working across education, behavioural change and digital innovation. We are building GRAM, a social-impact technology platform that connects NGOs, companies and individuals to support collaboration and meaningful initiatives. We are looking for a motivated Software Development Engineer Intern to join our founding technology team and contribute to developing and improving our products. Responsibilities
• Maintain and improve existing web application features based on client requirements and feedback.
• Implement current features and enhancements as product requirements evolve.
• Work with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and Express.js.
• Modify and extend existing REST APIs, database schemas and backend logic when required.
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues and improve application performance.
• Customize existing modules and workflows to meet specific client needs.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
• Test changes and ensure new updates do not break existing functionality.
• Collaborate with the founding team to understand requirements, estimate tasks and deliver updates on time.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development. Required Skills
• Good understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with React.js and component-based development.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP and JSON.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and communicate progress effectively. Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with Next.js, Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or Supabase.
• Knowledge of authentication,



API integration and application security.
• Experience deploying web applications.
• Personal projects, GitHub repositories or open-source contributions. Candidates do not need to know every technology listed. Compensation and Long-Term Opportunity This is an early-stage founding-team internship opportunity. The role may initially be unpaid. Monetary compensation may be provided depending on the work undertaken, project scope, contributions and available budget. Compensation arrangements and payment terms will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins. Interns who demonstrate consistent contribution, accountability, technical growth and long-term commitment may be considered for continued engagement and formal confirmation into the founding technology team. Confirmed team members may become eligible for additional benefits and growth opportunities beyond the initial internship arrangement, subject to performance, business requirements and mutually agreed terms.
