About InterviewGlide InterviewGlide is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that helps people do better in job interviews. During a practice or live interview, it hears the question and shows a clear, short answer on screen in real time. More products are on the way.
About the role
We’re looking for a software engineer who cares about how a product looks and feels as much as how it works. Two kinds of profile fit this role, and we welcome both:
• Frontend / UI-UX: you turn rough ideas into clean, fast and accessible interfaces, and you sweat the details people notice.
• Full stack: you are just as happy designing an API and a database table as building the screen on top of it. What you’ll do
• Build and polish product UIs: the web app, the website and new products. Responsive, accessible and fast on every screen size.
• Design the flows: sign-up, onboarding, settings, billing and everything in between. Sketch in Figma or go straight to code.
• Care about every state: loading, empty, error and success, on desktop and on mobile.
• Grow the design system: shared components, type, spacing and motion that keep everything consistent.
• Ship features end to end: API, data, UI and tests, then watch how people really use them.
• Help start recent products: move from idea to a working first version quickly. Who you are
• 1+ years building and shipping web products, or equivalent proof: things you built that people actually use.
• Freshers are welcome to apply: strong projects count as much as years.
• Strong with TypeScript, React and modern CSS.
• A good eye for design: you notice when spacing, copy or a flow feels off, and you fix it.
• For the full stack side: comfortable with Node.js APIs, SQL databases and auth.
• You write tests, read errors carefully, and leave code clearer than you found it.
• You work well remotely: you ask early, write down decisions and finish what you start. Nice to have
• Figma skills or a design portfolio.
• Animation and micro-interactions that make an interface feel alive.
• Experience with desktop apps (for example Electron), browser extensions or real-time features.
• Payments, auth or AI features you have shipped.
• A side project or open-source work you can show.
What we offer
• Fully remote, flexible hours.
• Real ownership and fast decisions.
• Full-time role with a fixed salary.
• A say in what gets built next, across several products.
How to apply
Along with your application, share a link to something you built or designed (a live product, repo or portfolio) and what your part was.
