Role Description The intern will assist in monitoring and analyzing security events, helping to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities across applications, networks, and information systems. Daily responsibilities include supporting security assessments, reviewing logs, documenting incidents, and contributing to basic remediation tasks under the guidance of senior team members. The role also involves participating in research on emerging cybersecurity trends,



updating security documentation and policies, and assisting with the implementation and testing of security controls. The intern will collaborate with consulting and technical teams to support cybersecurity initiatives for clients in various sectors. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess foundational skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including an understanding of security principles, risk, and compliance.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Security and Cyber, such as familiarity with firewalls, secure network architectures, and basic threat detection concepts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Application Security, including awareness of common vulnerabilities, secure coding basics, and application-level threat mitigation.
• Pursuing or having completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking fundamentals, and security tools (e.g., antivirus, SIEM, vulnerability scanners) is beneficial.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a structured on-site environment.
• Any relevant certifications or coursework (e.g., security fundamentals, network basics) will be considered an advantage.
