Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CNC Setter Programmer role based in Coimbatore. The CNC Setter Programmer will set up and program CNC machines for machining operations, ensuring that components are produced according to technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing tools and fixtures, loading and adjusting programs, performing trial runs, and optimizing machining parameters for efficiency and precision. The role involves monitoring machine performance, inspecting finished components, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with production and quality teams to maintain consistent output.



The CNC Setter Programmer will also support continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to safety and housekeeping practices on the shop floor. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess solid skills in Technical Drawing interpretation to understand and translate engineering blueprints into machining requirements.
• Candidates should possess solid CNC Programming and Programming skills for creating, modifying, and optimizing programs for various machining operations.
• Candidates should possess hands-on Machining and Milling skills, including experience in setting up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on CNC machines.
• Candidates should possess a positive understanding of dimensional inspection, tolerances, and quality control methods related to precision components.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in automotive or heavy engineering manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, work in a team, and communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues.
• Willingness to work in shifts as required and adapt to a high-automation, technologically advanced shop floor.
