Role Description The Government Consulting Professional will work on-site in Shillong in a full-time capacity, supporting public sector clients on policy, strategy, and implementation projects. Day-to-day activities include conducting research and analysis on government programs, preparing reports, presentations, and proposals, and supporting the design and execution of consulting engagements. The role involves engaging with local government officials and public sector stakeholders, gathering and validating data, and contributing to recommendations that improve governance, service delivery, and development outcomes.



The professional will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with firm methodologies, and help manage project timelines and deliverables. Qualifications
• Strong Government Relations and Local Government experience, with the ability to engage effectively with public authorities and stakeholders.
• Proven understanding of the Public Sector, including policies, schemes, regulatory frameworks, and institutional structures.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear written documentation, presentation abilities, and stakeholder coordination.
• Robust Analytical Skills, with capacity for data interpretation, problem-solving, and evidence-based recommendations.
• Relevant academic background in Public Policy, Economics, Management, Political Science, Governance, or related disciplines.
• Prior consulting or project management experience in government or development projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in office in Shillong, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate in diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools is an advantage.
