About KFT Kiran Foreign Trade (KFT) provides accounting, compliance and finance services to accounting firms and businesses internationally. KFT has built a significant accounting operation supporting clients across Australia and New Zealand and is now actively expanding its UK and USA operations. As part of this next phase of growth, we are hiring experienced Senior Accountants to join our Mohali team and take greater responsibility across international accounting engagements. The Role As a Senior Accountant at KFT, you will manage and review accounting work across a portfolio of international clients. You will work closely with experienced team members and client accounting teams, while also supporting and guiding junior staff. Your responsibilities may include:
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and supporting workpapers
• Managing complex bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
• Reviewing bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable work
• Supporting taxation, payroll and compliance requirements
• Identifying accounting issues, discrepancies and areas requiring further review
• Managing client queries and working directly with client accounting teams
• Reviewing the work of junior accountants and providing guidance and feedback
• Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently
• Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Working across platforms including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho and other accounting systems
• Contributing to process improvement and higher-quality delivery across the team Who we are looking for:



We are looking for candidates with a strong accounting background and relevant professional experience. Suitable qualifications will include:

• Other relevant accounting or finance qualifications You should ideally have:
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience preparing and reviewing accounting work
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Good knowledge of taxation, payroll and compliance processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence working with client queries and senior team members
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines
• Experience supporting or reviewing junior team members Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, and similar accounting platforms is highly regarded. Experience with Australian, New Zealand, UK, or USA accounting work is also an advantage. Why Join KFT? KFT offers the opportunity to:
