About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, design, and implementation of cutting-edge software applications. Your focus will include site integration, e-commerce feature development, platform optimization, and data & AI-driven products. Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement scalable and high-performance software applications, primarily focusing on e-commerce, site integration, platform optimization, site maintenance, data-driven, and AI-powered products.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable production-level code while adhering to best practices.

- Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to validate software functionality and reliability.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues in a timely manner.

- Optimize and refactor existing code to improve efficiency, readability, and maintainability.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed software, APIs, and system architectures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.

- Integrate software with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure SQL, MongoDB) to ensure robust data management.

- Develop front-end components and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Next.js (essential).

- Build and maintain services primarily using Next.js and Python-flask frameworks for high-performance applications.

- Leverage cloud platforms (preferably Azure) for deployment, scalability, and application management.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external services and applications.

- Apply software design patterns to enhance code reusability, scalability, and maintainability.





- Utilize Git and version control systems to collaborate effectively and maintain a structured codebase.

- Ensure software security by implementing best practices, conducting security assessments, and mitigating vulnerabilities.

- Participate in regular code reviews to uphold code quality, enforce best practices, and share knowledge within the team.

- Continuously improve development processes and methodologies to enhance productivity and software quality.

Headless CMS Integration (e.g., Contentful)

- Fetch and manage structured content efficiently using GraphQL/REST APIs.

- Optimize API queries for improved performance and scalability.

- Implement dynamic content rendering in frontend applications.

Product Information Management (PIM) Integration (e.g., Inriver)

- Synchronize and manage product data across multiple channels.

- Ensure data consistency and automated updates from PIM to e-commerce platforms.

- Utilize APIs to import/export product attributes, categories, and media assets.

AI-Powered Search Integration (e.g., Algolia)

- Implement real-time search and filtering for e-commerce and content-heavy applications.

- Optimize search indexing and ranking using AI-driven search capabilities.

- Configure query rules, faceted search, and personalization features.

CRM, ERP and Sales Automation Integration (e.g., Salesforce, IFS)

- Sync customer data, leads, and sales information between systems.

- Implement automation workflows for lead tracking and customer engagement.





- Ensure seamless API-based integration with marketing and support tools.

Mapping, Geolocation and security Services (e.g., Google Maps API, ReCAPTCHA)

- Integrate interactive maps, geolocation, and place search functionality.

- Implement distance-based filtering and location-based services.

- Optimize API usage to manage rate limits and improve performance.

E-commerce Platform API Integration (e.g., Elastic Path)

- Connect front-end applications with Elastic Path’s headless commerce API.

- Implement product catalogs, shopping cart, and checkout workflows via API.

- Optimize performance using asynchronous data fetching and caching strategies.

Authentication and Identity Management (e.g., Auth0)

- Implement secure authentication and authorization workflows.

- Integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

- Manage user roles, permissions, and access control via APIs.

Product Configuration Service (e.g., Tacton)

- Integrate product configuration logic into e-commerce platforms.

- Ensure seamless handling of complex product variations and pricing rules.

- Utilize API-driven automation for real-time product customization.

- Must be proficient in RESTful and GraphQL APIs, possess strong JSON parsing skills, and have experience handling OAuth2, API keys, and webhook implementations to ensure smooth system interactions.
