Summary / Purpose of the role
Assure Incoming Quality of vendor electrical Items and its receipt clearance, management of electrical measuring and monitoring devices to ensure its calibration and maintenance, shop floor and customer quality issues resolution related to incoming electrical items.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring Vendor Quality of electrical items.
Analysis of electrical vendor performance, CAPA for non- conformities its implementation & monitoring.
Resolution of chronic quality issues through structured problem solving approach.
On time clearance of receipt material and disposition of NCP for electrical commodities.
Electrical Vendor evaluation & audits.
Motor Testing result inferences for losses. Electrical commodity testing and interpretation of results.
Understanding of applicable standards for electrical commodities like Motor, Rotor, Stators, Core Windings, Capacitors etc. and their application.
Monthly management data preparation.
Maintain & improve the processes of receipt inspection & measuring and monitoring devices as per ISO 9001 requirements.
Management of electrical measuring and monitoring devices.
Adhere and fulfill IMS requirements.
Participation in management initiatives like 5's, Kaizen, TPM etc.
