Role & responsibilities

1. Support daily users of the TMS/OTM application to analyze and root cause planning failed orders.

2. Be the point of contact for shippers and transportation providers for resolution of order and shipment failures

3. Assist in developing customer presentations for identified savings initiatives.

4. Monitor end-to-end processes: Orders, Order Release, Shipment creation, optimization, Carrier Tender, and Delivery.

5. Conduct team calls with shipping parties & transportation providers to facilitate compliance and continuous improvement.

6. Responsible for configuring carrier rate packages in TMS/OTM application.

7. Maintain multiple database tables, Master Data, Locations Tables and Carrier Routings tables/itineraries.

8. Assist with On-Boarding and Training of new Users and Shippers.

9. Work with client IT organization for B2B integration monitoring and troubleshoot order failures; troubleshooting critical configuration issues e.g. planning problems, commitment allocation, lane rate mismatch and itinerary issues.

10. Interpret business requirements to make recommendations for configuration updates to optimize efficiency

11. Develop and write Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) testing scenarios, validation procedures, and documentation.

Analyze feasibility and impact of various Change Requests (CRs) on existing configurations.

13. Prepare Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation for any critical /repetitive business issues/concerns reported by the client & provide a long-term resolution.

14. Configure and demonstrate key end-to-end business scenarios in Oracle Transportation Management.

15. Develop strong relationship with key client stakeholders.

16. Analyze problem statements and author requirement documents.

17. Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL) to create reports from OTM database tables.

18. Skilled at using Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications.

19. Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including companys intellectual property protection.

20. Behaviors and attitudes consistent with DSV values.

21. Skilled skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.

Preferred candidate profile

4-8 years of OTM work experience; preferably an Oracle certified Oracle Transportation Management Implementation Specialist.
