Job Title: Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Technician

Department: Maintenance

Location: J174/1, M.I.D.C., Bhosari, Pune – 411026

Reporting To: HOD – Maintenance

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or relevant technical trade

Experience: 1–2 Years in Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance

Job PurposeTo perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding machines, hydraulic systems, servo systems, heaters, sensors and electrical control systems to ensure smooth and efficient machine operation.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and maintain hydraulic clamping units and injection pressure units.
2. Identify and resolve faults in pressure relief valves and directional control valves.
3. Maintain servo systems, servo motors and hydraulic pumps.
4. Perform mould thickness setting and troubleshoot tonnage sensor faults.
5. Inspect and maintain clamping cylinder and hydraulic pressure systems.
6. Troubleshoot hydraulic valve control wiring and related electrical circuits.
7. Perform machine scale, parameter setting and calibration activities as per machine specifications.
8. Maintain thermocouples, heaters, screw and barrel assemblies, and nozzle assemblies.
9. Diagnose basic PLC, VFD,



sensor and electrical control system faults.
10. Perform hydraulic pump pressure setting as per manufacturer specifications.
11. Carry out preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and machine inspection.
12. Maintain maintenance records and report recurring machine faults to the HOD.
13. Follow safety procedures during maintenance, machine isolation and troubleshooting.

- Candidate ProfileITI / Diploma holder in a relevant technical field.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in injection moulding machine maintenance.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Preferred Industry: Plastic Injection Moulding / Manufacturing Industry
