Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to maintain our company's IT infrastructure and provide frontline technical assistance to our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for resolving hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for employees. A successful candidate possesses a strong technical background in operating systems, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a patient, user-first approach to troubleshooting.

Roles & Responsibilities

- End-User Support: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Incident Management: Log, track, update, and resolve all support requests using the ServiceNow platform, ensuring adherence to established SLA metrics, documenting precise resolution notes, and escalating complex issues to tier-2 or tier-3 teams as required.
- Hardware Management: Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations, laptops (PCs and MacBooks), printers, and peripheral devices.
- Software & OS Maintenance: Deploy, update, and support both Windows and macOS operating systems alongside core business applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, VPN clients, antivirus).
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic local network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and remote VPN access.
- Identity & Access Control: Manage user accounts, permissions, password resets, and security groups within Active Directory / Entra ID.
- Asset & Lifecycle Management: Assist with the onboarding/offboarding of employees by provisioning hardware, tracking IT inventory, and managing asset disposal.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in a Desktop Support, Helpdesk, or Technical Support role.
- Tools: Hands-on experience navigating and using ServiceNow for ticket management,



request fulfillment, and knowledge base tracking.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of PC and Apple hardware components, with hands-on troubleshooting experience in Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to diagnosing technical issues under tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our growing IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our servers, networks, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver who can seamlessly handle day-to-day user requests while executing high-level system upgrades, automated backups, and robust cybersecurity protocols.

Core Responsibilities

- System Management: Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems (Windows Server and/or Linux), virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure.
- Identity & Access Management: Provision user accounts, manage permissions,



and enforce security policies using Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, or Okta.
- Security & Compliance: Deploy security patches, manage firewalls/endpoint protection, and conduct routine system audits to safeguard corporate data.
- Data Protection: Design, monitor, and regularly test automated backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively track system health, resolve bottlenecks, and manage hardware/software lifecycles to minimize downtime.
- Technical Support: Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, providing Tier 2/3 troubleshooting for internal staff.
- Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for system configurations, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications

- Experience: [3–5] years of hands-on experience working as a System Administrator or in a similar infrastructure role.
- OS Expertise: Deep technical proficiency with Windows Server (2019/2022) and/or enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configuration.

- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for task automation.
- Familiarity with MDM tools (Jamf, Intune) for endpoint management.
