Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist. The SEO Specialist will analyze and improve website performance to increase organic visibility and traffic across search engines. Daily responsibilities include conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and managing link-building initiatives.
The role involves tracking and reporting on key SEO metrics using web analytics tools, collaborating with content and development teams to implement best practices, and staying current with search engine algorithms and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform comprehensive Keyword Research and identify high-value search opportunities.
- Experience conducting detailed SEO Audits to diagnose technical, content, and structural issues.
- Proficiency in planning and executing ethical Link Building strategies to improve domain authority.
- Skill in using Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console) to interpret data and optimize performance.
- Strong knowledge of On-Page SEO techniques, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS and CMS platforms (such as WordPress) for implementing SEO recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in an SEO or digital marketing role is preferred.
