Experiences on ECC implementations, S/4 HANA implementations, BAPI, BADI, OOABAP, and migrations from ECC to S/4 HANA.

We are looking for SAP ABAP Developers with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, Core ABAP, OO ABAP, CDS Views, OData, AMDP, BAdIs, BAPIs, and performance optimization.

Experience in S/4HANA implementation, migration, enhancements, or support is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable working in the specified night shift.

We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on technical experience across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will design, build, enhance, and optimize custom ABAP solutions, and support complex ECC-to-S/4HANA migration and implementation projects. You must be comfortable operating within a U.S./Global overlapping night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST).

Key Responsibilities

- Implementations &
- Migrations: Participate in end-to-end SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and ECC-to-S/4HANA custom code adaptation/remediation initiatives.
- Custom Development &
- OOP: Develop scalable, reusable, and clean custom programs using Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- Enhancements &
- Integration: Design and implement custom logic utilizing BAPIs, BAdIs, user exits, and the enhancement framework.
- Modern S/4HANA Technologies: Build and maintain CDS Views (Core Data Services) for analytics/reporting,



expose OData Services for Fiori/system integration, and write database-intensive logic via AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
- Performance Optimization: Analyze existing codebases, perform deep debugging, run code pushdown techniques, and tune database-heavy queries for optimal execution speed.
- Collaboration &
- Documentation: Work closely with SAP functional consultants, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specs, unit tests, and deployment documentation.

- Experience: 6–7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Core &
- OO ABAP: Strong command of classic ABAP, module pool, ALV, and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- S/4HANA Competencies: Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA custom development, simplification items, and migration projects.
- HANA &
- Up-to-date ABAP: Practical proficiency in CDS Views, OData Services, and AMDP.
- Enhancements &
- APIs: Deep expertise in BAdIs (Business Add-Ins) and BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces).
- Troubleshooting: Strong debugging, code review, and performance tuning capabilities.
- Work Availability: Full comfort and stability working in the 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM IST night shift.
