Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, validating functionality, and ensuring that applications meet quality standards. This role is suitable for freshers who are interested in building a career in software quality assurance and software testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of software applications based on provided requirements and test cases.
- Prepare, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing under guidance.
- Verify bug fixes and retest applications to ensure issues are resolved.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements.
- Maintain test documentation and prepare basic testing reports.
- Ensure applications meet defined quality standards before release.
- Participate in test planning, requirement reviews,



and team meetings.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, defect reporting, and bug life cycle.
- Basic knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar defect-tracking tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL is preferred.
- Strong analytical, logical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn recent tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Relevant software testing certifications or academic projects are an added advantage.
