Role Description The Prompt Engineer Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The intern will design, test, and refine prompts for AI models to improve accuracy, relevance, and user experience across various applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing user needs, drafting and iterating prompt templates, running experiments, documenting results, and collaborating with software engineers and product teams.

The intern will also help maintain prompt libraries, contribute to guidelines and best practices,



and support troubleshooting and optimization of AI-driven features. This role offers hands-on experience with AI tools and workflows in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

- Ability to design clear, structured prompts and write concise, user-focused content for AI interactions.
- Strong analytical and research skills to experiment with prompts, interpret model responses, and iterate based on data.
- Basic understanding of AI or machine learning concepts, and familiarity with common AI tools or large language models.
- Comfort working with structured information (e.g., templates, documentation, versioned content) and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
- Interest in human–computer interaction, UX writing, or conversation design is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, receive feedback, and adapt in a fast-evolving AI technology environment.
