Job Overview

We are looking for a results driven Production Manager to oversee our textile manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining production processes, maintaining high efficiency and managing floor operations with multiple moving parts.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset for process innovation and thorough documentation habits. Knowledge of Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing principles and multi-lingual communication skills will be a solid advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Floor Management

- Operations Oversight: Manage daily shop floor activities, ensuring production schedules, output targets and high quality standards are consistently met.
- Workflow Optimization: Coordinate complex, multi-stage textile manufacturing workflows (processing, cutting, stitching and finishing) to minimize downtime and bottlenecks.
- Just-in-Time (JIT) Execution: Implement JIT techniques to reduce lead times, minimize excess inventory, and ensure smooth material flow across departments.
- Efficiency & Resource Allocation: Optimize asset utilization, labor scheduling and material usage to maximize operational yield and minimize waste.

Process Innovation & Documentation





- Process Creation & Improvement: Intentionally design, test and standardise new production processes to enhance output quality and operational speed.
- Standardization & Manuals: Develop, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), production manuals, and machine maintenance protocols.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of daily production reports, defect logs, material consumption, and yield analysis for executive review.

Leadership & People Management

- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and supervise floor supervisors, machine operators and technical staff.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce shop floor safety guidelines, ergonomic practices and operational compliance standards across all teams.
- Cross Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics teams to keep moving parts aligned.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience & Technical Background

- Experience: 5+ years of operational/production leadership in high-volume, dynamic manufacturing environments (textile, apparel, or multi-component manufacturing preferred).
- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, shop-floor scheduling, and inventory control. Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing knowledge is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze floor data, identify inefficiencies, and execute corrective action plans.

Language Requirements

Mandatory: Fluent in English and Hindi (both spoken and written).

Preferred: Knowledge of Kannada is a plus.
