Role Description This is a full-time Junior Project Manager role in a hybrid work model, based in Coimbatore with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Junior Project

Manager will support end-to-end project coordination, including planning timelines, tracking deliverables, and maintaining documentation for industrial automation and IoT projects. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with expeditors, suppliers, and internal teams, monitoring material availability, and assisting in logistics planning to meet project deadlines. The role also involves supporting inspection activities, preparing status reports, escalating risks or delays, and collaborating with senior project managers to ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and in line with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess foundational Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk tracking, and project documentation.
- Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to follow up on orders, ensure timely delivery of materials, and coordinate with vendors.
- Candidates should possess Inspection-related skills to support quality checks of materials, components, and project deliverables.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to assist in organizing shipments, managing inventory flow, and coordinating with transport and warehouse teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field are beneficial.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of industrial automation or IoT concepts is an advantage.
- Ability to use project tracking tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project management software) and a willingness to learn current systems and processes.
- Ganttchart prepration, coordination internally and with customers for project updates.
- Engineering plus MBA is an added advantage.
