Role Description The Inventory Analyst role at SM Electricals is a full-time, hybrid position based in Aurangabad, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, analyzing stock movements, and preparing regular reports to support purchasing and stocking decisions.

The Inventory

Analyst will review demand patterns, track discrepancies, and coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory. Daily tasks include updating inventory records in internal systems, validating data accuracy, and communicating findings and recommendations to management.



The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve inventory processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong inventory-focused skills, including Inventory Analysis, Inventory Control, and Inventory Management.
- Solid Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and management teams, and to present reports clearly.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and inventory or ERP software; comfort working with numerical data and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in electrical products, retail, distribution, or a similar industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting and uphold ethical, non-discriminatory workplace practices.
