Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Video Editor.

The Video

Editor will edit video content for influencer campaigns and brand partnerships, ensuring high-quality storytelling aligned with campaign objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, refining pacing and structure, applying color grading, incorporating graphics and motion elements, and optimizing content for various platforms and formats. The role also involves collaborating with creators, brand managers, and marketing teams to interpret briefs, provide creative input, and deliver revisions based on feedback.

Editor will manage project files, meet agreed deadlines, and maintain consistency in style and quality across multiple projects.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience assembling and polishing narrative and promotional content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance storytelling across diverse campaigns.
- Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging overlays, titles, and visual elements that support campaign goals.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and openness to feedback and iterative revisions.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for short-form and long-form content; experience in influencer or marketing campaigns is a plus.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
