About Peppermint

Peppermint is a growing kidswear brand with a presence across 350+ large-format retail stores, independent retailers, our own stores, and online marketplaces. With substantial in-house manufacturing capabilities, we're building a stronger, more scalable, technology-driven consumer business. We're investing heavily in technology, automation, and operational excellence, including our own enterprise platform that will transform how we run the business.

We're a company of builders who value ownership, resourcefulness, speed, and getting things done.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant who is organized, resourceful, proactive, and takes ownership without needing to be chased.

- You'll work directly with the CEO, helping manage priorities, commitments, communications, and day-to-day execution across a fast-moving and complex business.
- This is not a conventional administrative or secretarial position. We're looking for someone who can think independently, anticipate requirements, exercise sound judgment, and ensure that important things get done.
- Your responsibilities will range from managing the CEO's schedule and communications to coordinating with senior stakeholders, following through on critical commitments, conducting research, supporting recruitment, and independently driving special assignments.
- You won't be expected to make every important decision independently. But once something is entrusted to you, we'll expect you to take responsibility for driving it forward, navigating obstacles, and ensuring it gets done.

The goal is simple: Make the CEO more effective by bringing structure, reliability, and exceptional execution to everything you own.

What You'll Do

- Manage the CEO's priorities: Own calendar management, daily agendas, meeting preparation, scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and administrative coordination. Proactively anticipate requirements and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Own communication and correspondence: Act as a first point of contact across emails, calls, messages, and meeting requests. Prioritize incoming communications, draft correspondence, respond on behalf of the CEO where appropriate, and ensure timely follow-through.
- Drive follow-through: Track commitments, decisions, and action items across meetings and conversations. Monitor progress on key initiatives, follow up proactively with stakeholders, and ensure nothing important falls through the cracks.
- Be a trusted coordination partner: Work with internal teams, senior stakeholders, external partners, and vendors. Manage interactions with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Take ownership of special assignments: Independently drive research, analysis, vendor evaluations, planning, problem-solving, and smaller business projects from initiation to completion.
- Support recruitment and hiring: Assist with candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and coordination of the hiring process.
- Manage travel and logistics: Independently handle domestic and international travel planning,

detailed itineraries, flight and accommodation bookings, visa applications, and related arrangements.
- Bring structure to complexity: Organize information, prepare concise briefs, maintain trackers, manage competing priorities, and ensure the CEO has the right information at the right time.
- Anticipate and solve problems: Identify potential issues before they become urgent, find practical solutions, and handle routine decisions independently while escalating important matters appropriately.
- Improve the way things work: Leverage technology, automation, productivity tools, and better processes to simplify recurring tasks and improve personal and organizational efficiency.

This is a hands-on role that requires equal comfort with detailed administrative coordination, independent problem-solving, and working with people across all levels of the organization.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines solid intellectual ability, exceptional organizational skills, a genuine service-oriented mindset, and an unusually high sense of ownership.

Education & Professional Background

- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record, preferably from a reputed institution. A postgraduate qualification is an advantage, but not essential.
- Typically 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally including at least 2 years supporting senior leadership, founders, or business owners in a fast-paced organization.
- Experience in executive assistance, business coordination, founder's office, operations, or cross-functional project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi, with the confidence to interact professionally with senior stakeholders.
- Strong logical and analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to independently prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent tech proficiency: Strong command of Google Workspace (particularly Gmail and Google Calendar), Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), task management applications, and contemporary productivity tools. Comfortable learning new software and systems.
- Experience coordinating domestic and international travel, including bookings, itineraries, and visa documentation.
- A demonstrated track record of independently managing responsibilities, handling confidential information, and delivering outcomes reliably.
- Experience in entrepreneurial, founder-led, or operationally complex businesses is an advantage.

Personal Attributes

- Extreme Ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks, and follow through without reminders.
- Proactiveness: You think ahead, anticipate needs, and act before being asked.
- Exceptional Organization: You manage numerous moving parts with meticulous attention to detail,

using effective systems to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Service-Oriented Mindset: You genuinely enjoy enabling others to perform at their best and take pride in making the people you support more effective.
- Resourcefulness: You figure things out, even when problems are unfamiliar or instructions are incomplete.
- Persistence: You're a natural follow-up master who navigates obstacles and ensures commitments translate into results.
- Discretion & Judgment: You handle sensitive information responsibly and understand when to act independently and when to seek guidance.
- Adaptability & Low Ego: You're a flexible team player, comfortable handling everything from important business matters to the smallest operational details without hesitation.

What You Should Know Before Applying

We believe in being upfront about what working here looks like.

- This is an intense, high-trust role: We're in an ambitious phase of building and transforming Peppermint. The next 2-3 years will involve significant operational change, new technology, and a lot of execution. This is not a conventional 9-to-6 role. We're a six-day-a-week, work-from-office organization, and the role requires flexibility and commitment beyond fixed working hours when business priorities demand it. If you're looking for a strictly five-day workweek or highly predictable hours, this probably isn't the right opportunity.
- We're building the environment, not just working in it: We value people who are comfortable with imperfect environments, can create order from ambiguity, and enjoy being part of the transformation. There will be ambiguity, competing priorities, and situations where the answer isn't immediately obvious. You'll need to get involved, speak to people, understand the details, and drive solutions rather than simply recommend them.
- You'll need to be proactive, not just responsive: This role requires someone who can think ahead, independently solve problems, and take responsibility for ensuring things happen. We value people who take initiative, anticipate what needs to be done, and move things forward independently without needing constant direction or follow-up.

Why Join Us?

- A business with enormous potential: Join one of India's leading kidswear brands at an exciting stage of growth, with significant opportunities in D2C expansion (online and offline), boyswear, and a strong foundation of vertically integrated manufacturing.
- Build the next generation of Peppermint: Help transform a complex, established business through technology, automation, better processes, and modern operating systems, including our in-house enterprise platform.
- Meaningful responsibility and impact: Play a pivotal role in keeping important priorities moving, solving problems, and making the leadership team and organization more effective.
- An entrepreneurial environment: Work in a high-agency culture where initiative, resourcefulness, and execution matter more than hierarchy. As you deliver results, your responsibilities and opportunities will grow with the business.

If you're someone who naturally takes charge, thinks two steps ahead, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.
