Role Description The Fashion Design Intern role is an on-site internship based in Mumbai. The intern will support the design team in developing collections across categories such as resort wear, evening wear, and bridal couture, including research, mood boards, and sketching. Daily tasks include assisting with fabric selection, trims, and surface details, preparing technical specs, and coordinating with sampling and production teams.

The intern will help with fittings, alterations, and garment finishing, as well as organizing samples,



maintaining design archives, and preparing presentations for internal reviews or shows. This role offers hands-on exposure to luxury fashion design processes and requires active collaboration with designers, pattern makers, and stylists.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Fashion Design, including sketching, concept development, and garment construction.
- Working knowledge of Textiles and Sewing for fabric handling, draping, and finishing techniques.
- Basic Graphic Design skills for digital sketches, presentations, and mood boards.
- Interest and capability in Fashion Styling to support look development, fittings, and visual storytelling.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Valuable communication skills and willingness to learn from cross-functional teams in office in Mumbai.
