Role Overview

We are looking for a defence sales professional already working with a defence OEM, defence technology company or systems integrator, with established exposure to the Indian Defence Forces and a practical understanding of the defence sales ecosystem.

This role is specifically focused on direct sales and business development with the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and CAPFs. The candidate should be experienced in developing customer relationships, identifying procurement opportunities and driving defence sales from initial engagement through demonstrations, trials, tender participation and order closure.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and drive sales opportunities with the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and CAPFs.
- Leverage existing professional experience and customer relationships to develop a strong defence sales pipeline.
- Identify upcoming requirements, procurement opportunities, tenders, trials and equipment induction programmes.
- Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations and technical discussions to position OEPL's solutions.
- Coordinate with customers and internal technical teams for requirement mapping, specifications, evaluations and trials.




- Track procurement processes, customer decision-making hierarchies, competitor activities and market developments.
- Support commercial negotiations, bid preparation, pricing strategies and order finalisation.
- Maintain sales forecasts, opportunity tracking and regular business development reports.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute directly to revenue growth.

Who Should Apply?
- Professionals currently working in defence sales or business development with a defence OEM, electro-optics company, defence equipment manufacturer or defence systems integrator.
- Candidates with demonstrable experience in dealing with Indian Defence Forces and/or CAPFs.
- Individuals familiar with defence procurement processes, tendering, trials, demonstrations and customer engagement.
- Professionals who can independently manage customer accounts, develop qualified opportunities and drive them towards order closure.
- Candidates with robust communication, negotiation, presentation and commercial skills.

Preferred: Candidates with experience selling electro-optic systems, thermal imaging sights, surveillance equipment, weapon sights, optronic systems or other defence electronics.

Important

This is a defence sales role, not a general marketing or lead-generation position. We are specifically seeking candidates with relevant defence-industry experience and hands-on exposure to selling equipment to the Indian Defence Forces.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline.

Location: Noida, with remote working and regular customer visits as required.
