We're Hiring: Creative Video Editor

Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru (Work from Office, 5 days a week)

We're looking for a creative video editor who knows how to turn simple ideas into videos people genuinely enjoy watching.

Someone with a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and humour, who understands that outstanding editing isn't about flashy transitions but about knowing how to hold an audience's attention.

At Credfix, you'll work across YouTube videos, social media content, and creative ad films, with occasional projects involving performance ads and motion graphics. You'll have the freedom to experiment with different editing styles and bring fresh ideas to the table.

What you'll be doing

- Edit engaging YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Create high-performing video ads for Meta, Google, and YouTube.
- Edit creative ad films with strong storytelling, pacing, comedic timing, and sound design.
- Add motion graphics, animated text, visual effects, and creative transitions wherever they genuinely improve the video.
- Turn raw footage, scripts, and ideas into polished, platform-ready content.
- Experiment with different hooks, editing styles, and visual formats to improve audience retention.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and the marketing team to bring ideas to life.
- Repurpose long-form videos into engaging short-form content.

What we're looking for





- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with hands-on experience using AI video generation tools like Google Flow.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects.
- Excellent understanding of pacing, storytelling, sound design, and comedic timing.
- Experience editing both short-form and long-form videos.
- Ability to create engaging edits using B-roll, graphics, memes, visual references, and sound effects.
- Understanding of YouTube audience retention, scroll-stopping hooks, and platform-specific editing styles.
- A good eye for typography, composition, colour grading, and overall visual quality.

Bonus points if you

- Have edited videos for YouTube creators, digital-first brands, or content-led startups.
- Have experience creating performance marketing ads and multiple creative variations.
- Can create 2D animations, character animations, or advanced motion graphics.
- Are comfortable using AI-assisted creative tools to speed up editing and production.
- Follow internet culture, memes, and emerging video trends.

We care more about your portfolio and creative thinking than the number of years you've spent editing.

If you can make a boring topic interesting, know when to use a jump cut, and understand that good editing is about keeping viewers hooked, we'd love to see your work.
