Role Description The Career Transition Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for guiding learners and professionals through successful career shifts into digital and enterprise technology roles. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one career counseling sessions, assessing individual profiles, and designing personalized transition plans aligned with industry opportunities. The consultant collaborates with training and placement teams to map skills to career paths, prepare learners for interviews, and support job search strategies.





Additional tasks include facilitating career development workshops, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends and role requirements, and tracking learner progress to ensure measurable outcomes. The role also involves providing ongoing career management support, including resume optimization, portfolio review, and coaching on professional branding and networking.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Career Transition Services and Consulting, with the ability to guide individuals into current roles and industries.
- Experience in Career Counseling and Career Development, including personalized guidance, goal setting, and career pathway planning.
- Knowledge of Career Management practices, such as job search strategies, interview preparation, and long-term career planning.
- Strong understanding of digital economy roles and skills (e.g., SAP, AI, data analytics, cloud, and digital transformation) is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse learner backgrounds.
- Ability to analyze profiles and market trends, and translate them into practical, actionable career transition plans.
- Experience in education, talent development, or HR/placement services is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications in career counseling or coaching are a plus.
