Role Description The Captain role at Blondie Hospitality is a full-time, on-site position based in Bandra. The Captain oversees the dining floor, coordinates with the service team, and ensures that guests receive prompt, courteous, and accurate service throughout their visit. This role includes managing table assignments and reservations, supervising order taking and food delivery, and resolving guest concerns in a professional manner.

The Captain collaborates closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth service flow and consistent quality standards.



Daily responsibilities also include training and guiding team members, monitoring cleanliness and presentation of the dining area, and supporting opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong guest service and communication skills, with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with diverse guests.
- Proven experience in restaurant or hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory or head server/captain position.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities to oversee multiple tables, team members, and service sequences.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including menu familiarity, order accuracy, and table etiquette.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, provide on-the-floor training, and support a positive, collaborative work setting.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting, with attention to detail and a calm, solution-focused approach to issues.
- Basic familiarity with POS systems and reservation management tools is beneficial.
- Prior experience in Bandra or similar high-traffic dining locations is an advantage; formal hospitality training or a related diploma is preferred.
