Role Description This is a full-time, in office Backend Web Developer role based in Janakpuri.

The Backend Web

Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power Criclive.in’s live commentary, news delivery, and fan interaction features.

Responsibilities include implementing scalable data models, optimizing application performance, ensuring reliable integration with front-end interfaces, and maintaining security and data integrity. The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, designers, and content teams to support new features, troubleshoot issues, and improve overall site reliability.



The developer will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of the development workflow.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming to build and maintain robust server-side applications.
- Experience in Web Development, including API integration and working with databases and web servers.
- Basic understanding of Front-End Development to collaborate effectively with UI engineers and ensure seamless integration.
- Exposure to Web Design principles to support user-friendly, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language or framework (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, PHP/Laravel, or similar), and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, version control systems (such as Git), and deployment on common hosting or cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience; interest in cricket and sports media is a plus.
