Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Bandhan Bank is a full-time, on-site position based in Hubli Taluka.

The Assistant

Manager will support branch operations, oversee daily customer service activities, and ensure adherence to banking policies and compliance standards.

Responsibilities include supervising front-line staff, monitoring cash operations and transaction processing, and assisting with account opening, loan processing, and other retail banking services. The role involves driving sales of banking products, coordinating local marketing initiatives,



and maintaining strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and retention.

The Assistant

Manager will also contribute to performance reporting, process improvements, and staff training to help the branch achieve its business and service goals.

Qualifications

- Robust customer service skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
- Solid understanding of retail banking operations, including accounts, loans, cash management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in sales and business development, with the ability to meet branch targets through responsible cross-selling.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and interact with diverse customers.
- Good analytical and numerical skills to review reports, monitor performance, and support decision-making.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and digital banking platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or finance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a bank or financial services organization, preferably in branch operations or supervisory roles.
- Ability to work on-site in Hubli Taluka, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
