Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate records of inventory and fixed assets, and supporting budgeting and cost-control activities related to manufacturing operations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as assisting with audits and financial reporting to management.



The Accountant will collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to provide timely financial insights and support decision-making.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of balance sheet and profit & loss statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable management, bank reconciliation, and cash flow monitoring.
- Candidates should possess skills in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and variance analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems), MS Excel, and basic data analysis tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS), statutory compliance, and support for internal and external audits.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and management.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is required; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in an industrial or textile machinery company
