Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full time, hybrid role based in Dibrugarh East, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. The person in this role will guide prospective students and families through the admissions process, including providing information on courses, test-prep programs, fee structures, and learning pathways. Daily tasks include responding to walk-in, phone, and online inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, following up on leads,



and supporting students in selecting suitable programs based on their academic goals.

The Admissions

Counselor will collaborate with center staff to manage admissions documentation, maintain accurate records in the system, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. The role also involves participating in outreach activities, supporting sales and marketing initiatives, and providing excellent customer service to uphold AESL’s “Student First” philosophy.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to effectively engage with students and families.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented support throughout the admissions journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments and meet center-level admission targets in an ethical and student-focused manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related understanding, preferably of the test-prep and competitive exam ecosystem, to guide students on appropriate academic pathways.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM tools, strong organizational and record-keeping abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, adapt to hybrid work arrangements, and communicate in local languages and English will be an added advantage.
