Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur, responsible for managing and growing client relationships within the logistics and forwarding portfolio. The role involves acting as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their business requirements, and coordinating with operations and documentation teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The Account Manager will oversee shipment schedules, track containers and project movements, and proactively resolve issues related to delays, documentation, or service quality. Daily responsibilities include preparing proposals and quotations, monitoring account performance, analyzing service utilization,



and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling logistics solutions. The role also requires maintaining accurate records in CRM or account management systems, preparing periodic reports, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve processes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Client relationship and account management skills, including the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and handle client escalations effectively.
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding operations, with familiarity in containerized cargo, door-to-door shipments, and project logistics.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities to prepare proposals, discuss pricing, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and organizational skills to track shipments, monitor performance metrics, manage documentation, and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., MS Office) and CRM or ERP tools used for account and operations management.
- Ability to work on-site in Jodhpur, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced workplace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant experience in the logistics domain is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of domestic and international trade practices, Incoterms, and basic commercial documentation will be an added advantage.
