Role Description This full-time on-site General Surgeon role is based at Nirmala Hospital and College in Hardoi. The General Surgeon will perform and manage a wide range of surgical procedures, including pre-operative evaluations, operative interventions, and post-operative care. Responsibilities include conducting outpatient and inpatient consultations, developing treatment plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The role involves supervising junior medical staff and learners, maintaining accurate medical records, and participating in clinical audits and quality improvement activities. The General Surgeon is expected to support emergency surgical services,



contribute to teaching where applicable, and uphold high skilled and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core clinical skills in Medicine and Surgery.
- Candidates should possess relevant surgical skills in Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Ophthalmology, particularly in coordinating care with relevant specialists.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in General Surgery from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical registration/license to practice as a surgeon, with compliance to local regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in managing emergency and elective surgical cases in a hospital setting.
- Strong diagnostic abilities, clinical decision-making skills, and commitment to patient safety and ethical practice.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and academic staff.
- Willingness to participate in teaching, training, and mentoring of students and junior clinicians
- Qualification. MBBS MD MS PG DNB.
