Job Description

Poddar Stones is supplying Tandur stone, granite and tiles with fitting at the Young Indian School government project in Jetprol, Kollapur Road. We need a Site Supervisor to stay on site and manage all material coming in, going out and in stock.

Daily responsibilities

• Receive every delivery of Tandur stone, granite slabs and tile boxes at site; check quantity, size and quality against the delivery challan/invoice and sign off

• Maintain a daily stock register: material received, material issued to fitters, material used, closing stock (separately for Tandur stone, granite and tiles)

• Monitor wastage during cutting and fitting; flag excess wastage, breakage or misuse immediately

• Ensure stone and slabs are stacked and stored safely to avoid breakage,



theft or weather damage

• Send a daily site update to the office by WhatsApp with photos: work done, material consumed, stock balance, any issues

• Coordinate with the fitters/masons and the client’s site representative on next-day material requirements

• Keep all challans, bills and records filed and ready for office reconciliation

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as site supervisor / storekeeper / material in-charge in construction, Tandur stone, granite, tiles or flooring work

• Able to read delivery challans and maintain stock records (notebook or Excel/WhatsApp)

• Basic measurement knowledge (sq. ft, running ft, slab and box counting)

• Honest, punctual and able to stay at or near the site full time

• Telugu required; Hindi or English helpful

• Smartphone with WhatsApp for daily reporting
