Job Summary

We are seeking a caring, dependable Preschool Teacher to support young children’s learning, development, and well-being in a safe, welcoming classroom. The teacher will plan age-appropriate activities, encourage curiosity and positive relationships, and partner with families to support each child’s progress. Candidates with experience in early childhood education, preschool teaching, toddler care, or other childcare settings are encouraged to apply.

Duties

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that support early literacy, math, physical development, creativity, and social-emotional learning.
- Develop and adapt curriculum and lesson plans to meet children’s developmental stages, interests, and individual learning needs.
- Teach foundational skills through play, routines, group activities, and child development instruction.
- Maintain a secure, organized classroom and use positive behavior management and classroom management strategies.
- Observe and document children’s development, participation, and learning; use appropriate assessments, including standardized testing when applicable.
- Support children who may benefit from special education services or early intervention, collaborating with families and relevant professionals as appropriate.
- Communicate regularly and respectfully with parents and caregivers about children’s experiences, progress, and needs.
- Follow applicable child welfare practices,



health and safety procedures, and mandated reporting laws.
- Provide attentive childcare and supervision throughout the school day, including support with age-appropriate routines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

- Experience working with children; teaching experience with young children, preschool experience, or classroom experience is preferred.
- Background in early childhood education, childhood development, preschool teaching, teaching, or childcare is an asset.
- Experience in daycare, toddler care, private school, Montessori, or other early learning settings is welcome.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and child development.
- Familiarity with special education, early intervention, behavior management, child welfare, and mandated reporting laws.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Ability to support and guide students with varied learning styles and developmental needs; tutoring experience is a plus.
- Experience teaching physical education or leading movement activities is beneficial.
- Current first aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it, is preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
