Company Description Vietnam Logistics Manufacturing Networking (VLMN) is a professional community that connects experts in logistics, supply chain, import–export, and manufacturing through recurring in-person events. The network organizes monthly meetups on the first Tuesday of every month, along with additional events across key locations such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi City, Binh Duong Province, and Can Tho City. These events are designed to help professionals build strong industry connections, expand business networks, and discover new collaboration opportunities. VLMN engages its community through multiple online groups and social channels, making it easier for members to stay informed and involved. Role Description The Owner role at VLMN is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing the overall strategy, operations, and growth of the network. The Owner will plan and coordinate regular networking events, manage local partnerships, and ensure high-quality experiences for participants. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising event logistics, guiding marketing and outreach efforts, and cultivating relationships with professionals and organizations in logistics, supply chain, import–export, and manufacturing. The role involves leading a small team or collaborating with external partners, managing budgets and resources,



and monitoring performance against community growth and engagement goals. The Owner will also represent VLMN at events, act as a primary contact for stakeholders, and continuously identify new opportunities for expansion and collaboration in the Chennai region. Qualifications
• Solid leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning skills, with experience managing teams or initiatives.
• Background in logistics, supply chain, import–export, manufacturing, or related business domains, with a solid understanding of industry trends.
• Event planning and coordination skills, including vendor management, budgeting, and on-site operations.
• Business development and networking capabilities, with a proven ability to build partnerships and maintain professional relationships.
• Marketing and communication skills, including basic digital marketing, social media engagement, and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse professionals.
• High level of organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple events and initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Logistics, or a related field; advanced qualifications or entrepreneurial experience are an asset.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages and prior experience working in or with communities in Chennai is an advantage.
