Role Description The Senior Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position located in Noida. The Senior Merchandiser will manage end-to-end merchandising activities, including coordinating with buyers, understanding their requirements, and translating them into clear product and production plans. Daily responsibilities include handling sample development, costing, order follow-up, and tracking production timelines to ensure on-time delivery. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to align product specifications, fabric choices, trims, and embellishments with buyer expectations. The Senior Merchandiser will also analyze market trends,



maintain strong relationships with existing clients, support new business opportunities, and prepare reports on order status, performance, and key metrics. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with international buyers and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to understand buyer needs, market demands, and commercial aspects of fashion merchandising.
• Candidates should possess Marketing skills to support product positioning, presentations, and collection pitches to clients.
• Candidates should have proven experience in apparel merchandising, preferably in women’s high-end fashion and export-oriented businesses.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong negotiation, costing, and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Candidates should be proficient in MS Office and relevant merchandising tools, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Fashion Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a senior merchandising role within the garment export industry, especially in woven, knits, and embellished products, will be an advantage.
