Responsibilities

- Manage daily production activities of the Powder Coating and Zinc Plating Lines and achieve production targets.

- Supervise pre-treatment, powder coating, zinc plating, and final inspection processes.

- Ensure proper execution of surface treatment processes as per customer specifications and quality standards.

- Manage manpower and ensure proper work allocation across production lines.

- Monitor zinc plating process parameters, including bath concentration, pH, temperature, and plating time.

- Ensure proper chemical handling, bath maintenance, and replenishment as per process requirements.

- Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and surface finish as per customer requirements.

- Control rejection, rework, material wastage, and powder/chemical consumption to improve productivity.

- Identify coating and plating defects and coordinate with the Quality team for corrective and preventive actions.

- Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of production equipment, tanks, and related machinery.

- Maintain production, quality, and process records, including daily production reports and rejection data.





- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling guidelines.

- Implement process improvements, 5S, and basic problem-solving techniques to improve productivity and quality.

Requirements

- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- 2+ years of experience in Automobile Production / Manufacturing.

- Supervisory experience with good manpower handling skills.

- Experience in Powder Coating / Zinc Plating / Surface Treatment will be preferred.

- Knowledge of surface treatment processes and related production parameters.

- Knowledge of Quality Inspection, Measuring Instruments, and basic 7 QC Tools.

- Understanding of coating thickness measurement, visual inspection, and surface defect identification.

- Valuable communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
