We are looking for a creative and performance-driven YouTube Graphic Designer who can create high-quality, engaging visuals for YouTube content, with a robust understanding of what drives CTR, views, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-CTR YouTube thumbnails for both Shorts and Long-Form (LF) videos.
- Create visually compelling Shorts creatives, banners, channel assets, and promotional creatives.
- Understand YouTube trends, audience behaviour, and thumbnail best practices.
- Develop multiple thumbnail concepts and variations based on content and performance insights.
- Collaborate with Content Managers, Editors, and YouTube teams to understand video context and creative requirements.
- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, colours, and visual identity across channels.
- Analyse thumbnail performance and continuously improve creatives based on CTR and engagement data.
- Handle multiple channels and deliver creatives within defined timelines.
Required Skills & Tools
- Adobe Photoshop mandatory
- Adobe Illustrator good to have
- Canva – good to have
- Basic knowledge of Figma is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of YouTube thumbnail design and CTR optimisation.
- Good knowledge of typography, colour theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create attention-grabbing thumbnails while maintaining brand guidelines.
- Strong creative thinking and ability to work with tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in YouTube thumbnail design / digital content design.
- Prior experience working on education, media, entertainment, or content-driven YouTube channels is preferred.
- Candidates should have a strong portfolio showcasing YouTube thumbnails, especially Shorts and Long-Form content.
