MIT Bengaluru invites applications for the position of Workshop Assistant to support procurement activities and workshop operations related to student projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. ITI / Diploma / B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
2. Relevant practical knowledge of mechanical equipment, tools, fabrication processes, or engineering project activities.
3. Experience supporting student projects, engineering workshops, manufacturing units, technical institutions or similar environments.
4. Computer tools proficiency, including MS office tools, knowledge and usage of mechanical design and engineering software.
5. Positive communication, coordination, documentation and organizational skills.
