Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Workday Absence Management and Time Tracking solutions. The ideal candidate will possess robust functional expertise in Workday HCM, Absence, and Time Tracking modules, with proven experience in business process design, integrations, testing, reporting, and production support.

The consultant will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Operations, and Business stakeholders to deliver scalable workforce management solutions while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and maintain Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules based on business requirements.
- Design and implement absence plans, leave accruals, eligibility rules, carryover policies, and leave conversion calculations.
- Configure time tracking components including:

o Time Entry Codes o Time Calculation Rules o Time Entry Templates o Time Clock Events o Work Schedules o Shift Configurations o Overtime Rules o Holiday Calendars
- Configure staffing events and worker eligibility impacting absence and time processes.




- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend Workday best practices.

Business Process Management:

- Configure and maintain business processes related to:

o Leave Requests o Leave Corrections o Time Entry o Time Approval o Time Off Requests o Absence Requests o Manager Self-Service o Employee Self-Service
- Configure approval of workflows and security policies.
- Partner with stakeholders to optimize business processes and improve user experience.

Testing & Deployments:

- Prepare test strategies and test cases.
- Execute:

o Unit Testing o System Integration Testing (SIT)

o User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

o Regression Testing

- Support Workday biannual releases by evaluating impacts and implementing required changes.
- Coordinate production deployments and post-go-live support activities.

Production Support:

- Investigate and resolve complex functional issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for absence and time tracking defects.
- Monitor system performance and data accuracy.
- Support service requests and incident management within defined SLAs.
