- Read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Set up and operate MIG welding machines.
- Select appropriate wire, gas, voltage, and welding parameters.
- Weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
- Check welds for cracks, porosity, undercut, and other defects.
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and alignment.
- Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded parts.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain welding equipment and report machine problems.
- Meet production and quality targets.
