We are seeking a dedicated and organized Ward Secretary for Ortho-One. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient-related administrative activities, ensuring smooth communication between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Orient in-patients at admission regarding ward facilities, policies, and hospital services.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and admission staff for patient care and bed management.
- Communicate surgery details, discharge plans, and insurance/cash procedures to patients and attendants.
- Handle daily ward rounds and report patient concerns to the HOD.
- Prepare and type discharge summaries, day-care summaries, and related documents.
- Issue feedback forms and collect patient feedback at discharge.
- Prepare required certificates and letters for patients and attendants.
- Assist with room/bed changes, ambulance arrangements,
and special patient requirements.
- Ensure smooth communication and patient satisfaction throughout hospitalization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Qualification
- Any graduate with relevant hands-on experience.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Ward Secretary.
Skills
- Fluent in English, Malayalam, and Tamil.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and doctor coordination abilities.
- Good computer proficiency.
