Job Summary

We are looking for a Product Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in mechanical product design and development, including at least 2-3 years of hands-on work in product design and development. The role is focused on supporting the design, development, and improvement of products used in water treatment applications. The ideal candidate should have strong CAD skills in either SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor and a sound understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.

Experience in FEA and GD&T; will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical products and components for water treatment applications.
- Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, & assemblies using SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor.
- Support product development activities from concept through design, prototyping, testing, & release.
- Perform basic mechanical engineering calculations related to strength, sizing, tolerance, fits, & performance.
- Prepare & maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and ECNs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and project teams to ensure product feasibility and timely execution.
- Review and improve existing product designs for performance, manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
- Support prototype evaluation, testing, and validation activities.
- Apply engineering standards, design practices, and quality requirements in product development.




- Contribute to problem-solving and root cause analysis for design-related issues.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 4-6 years of overall engineering experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in product design and development.
- Experience in water treatment equipment, systems, or related mechanical products.
- Proficiency in either SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Valuable understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to perform basic mechanical engineering calculations.
- Experience in preparing detailed parts, assembly, and fabrication drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to FEA for basic structural or performance validation.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and its practical application in engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing and assembly.
- Experience working with sheet metal, fabricated parts, machined components, or pressure-related equipment is beneficial.
