Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager – Product Development with 10–15 years of experience in software engineering, technical leadership, and people management.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on technical expertise in .NET, experience managing engineering teams, and the ability to drive end-to-end product development and delivery.

This role requires a combination of people leadership, technical expertise, architecture and system design, planning, execution, and stakeholder management. The candidate should be capable of leading a team of 10–15 members while ensuring high-quality deliverables and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of 10–15 engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
- Take end-to-end ownership of engineering delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Leverage solid .NET technical expertise to review code, guide engineers, and participate in technical discussions.
- Design and evaluate system architecture, technical solutions, and engineering approaches.
- Explain architecture decisions, technical trade-offs, and implementation strategies.
- Develop technical plans and project execution strategies, manage dependencies, and identify potential risks.
- Proactively identify delivery challenges and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders,



and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define priorities.
- Communicate technical challenges and solutions in business terms.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between business objectives and engineering deliverables.
- Drive engineering excellence, team productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Balance people management, technical leadership, and delivery ownership.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10–15 years of overall experience in software engineering and product development.
- Prior experience working as a Technical Manager or Engineering Manager.
- Proven experience managing and leading a team of 10–15 engineers.
- Strong technical expertise and development background in .NET.
- Experience in code reviews, technical guidance, and engineering best practices.
- Strong knowledge of architecture and system design.
- Ability to evaluate technical solutions and make architecture decisions.
- Experience in technical planning, program management, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
- Must have experience in people management, technical leadership, and end-to-end delivery ownership.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- A strong technical leader with a solid .NET engineering background.
- Experienced in managing engineering teams and delivering software products.
- Capable of driving architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Strong in planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
- Should not be purely a Project Manager or an Individual Contributor.
- Must demonstrate a balanced combination of technical leadership, people management, and delivery ownership.
