Role & responsibilities

- Develop embedded firmware using Embedded C/C++ for 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers.

- Develop motor-control firmware for BLDC, universal and induction motors.

- Implement PWM generation, speed control, soft start, overload protection and motor diagnostics.

- Develop peripheral drivers and communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, USB and CAN.

- Perform board bring-up, hardwarefirmware integration, debugging and validation.

- Use IDEs and debugging tools such as STM32CubeIDE, Keil, MPLAB, JTAG and logic analysers.

- Develop interrupt-driven software, state machines, RTOS-based applications and bootloaders.

- Perform unit testing, functional validation, root-cause analysis and code optimisation.

- Maintain technical documentation, version control, code reviews and MISRA C compliance.

- Support product risk assessments, DFMEA/SFMEA and applicable electrical appliance safety standards.
